UNITE HERE Local 100 members. A Union is workers coming together as a collective and demanding what we deserve. Time and time again, we’ve seen the wealthy try to dismantle what workers have spent over a century trying to build; they’ve passed laws to weaken us and divide us through fear. In some areas it’s worked and in some, we’ve come out stronger. We’ve withstood the hurdles thrown at us and, through that, we’ve come out better for it. New York and New Jersey are Union states making it possible to push for Legislation, strong contracts, better regulations, enforcement, and more! In general, push for changes that benefit us, the working people. We aren’t perfect and there’s definitely more work to be done. Let’s get together, get involved, and let’s make your Union shop a force to be reckoned with.
