Olga Genao has been a proud member of UNITEHERE Local 100 since 2007. She has served as an elected Shop Steward since 2009, representing her coworkers at Sarah Lawrence College with commitment and integrity. In addition to her role as a steward, Olga was elected to the Union’s Executive Board, where she helps shape policies and decisions that impact the broader membership.
Olga is also an active member in Yonkers, playing a vital role in the Union’s member-to-member Get Out the Vote (GOTV) program during election seasons. Olga’s leadership reflects her deep belief in collective power, civic engagement, and the importance of every member’s voice being heard—both at work and in community-level elections.
