Ricardo Mendonca has been a proud member of UNITEHERE Local 100 since 2017. Shortly after joining, he was elected Shop Steward at UBS–New York, a role that deepened his commitment to the labor movement and his coworkers. In 2021, Ricardo was elected as a Trustee, where he now helps oversee important decisions that affect the Union’s financial health and organizational strategy.
Ricardo’s involvement has continued to grow over the years. He has actively participated in numerous rallies, played a role in Master Contract negotiations, and represented the Union as a delegate from Local 100 at the UNITEHERE International Convention in Las Vegas in 2019 and again at the New York Convention in 2024.
Through every role, Ricardo remains committed to strengthening the Union, empowering workers, and building solidarity.
